What started in 2002 as a simple 1-day event to get the players back into lacrosse after football season has grown into an annual celebration of the game and its players, coaches, officials and parents. It's great that everyone can still get together for a weekend of FUN before the hotly contested spring season begins.

This event is about serving the lacrosse community and its needs. After a long off-season of club tournaments, fall youth developmental programs, and "Green Days", lets get RE-FOCUSED on what really matters. The upcoming SPRING SEASON!! Each year we welcome over 250 teams and over 3000 players to the event who share our vision of FUN!!

We will once again have Varsity Elite, Varsity Open and JV Divisions for the high school teams. Since our youth divisions primarily serve NVYLL, we use Age Divisions for Boys (14U, 12U, etc.) and Grade Divisions for Girls (7/8, 5/6, etc.)

The Fall Brawl doesn't have fancy uniforms, coaches on the sidelines recruiting, predict the state champion or make you an all-American. What it does is remind all of us that we started playing to HAVE FUN!! We can take one weekend to remember that!! Have a great spring and summer season!!

At LaxNOVA Events, our mission is to support the Northern Virginia lacrosse community by providing high-quality, local events designed specifically for Recreational and High School teams. Our focus is on creating opportunities that help teams, coaches, and players develop their skills, grow the game, and build camaraderie. Our annual events serve as valuable tools for teams to prepare for their seasons:

NOVA Fall Brawl 7v7 Tournament – An annual tradition since 2002, this fast-paced, small-sided tournament is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together players as young as six through high school. The 7v7 format promotes quick decision-making, increased touches, and a fun, competitive environment where developing players can learn from experienced athletes. For many, the Fall Brawl is a rite of passage, marking the start of their lacrosse journey and continuing through high school graduation.
Winter Thaw Play Day – The final off-season event before the spring season kicks off, Winter Thaw is a critical tune-up for high school teams and players looking to refine their game before tryouts and competition. It’s an opportunity for younger athletes to showcase their progress and for teams to strengthen their chemistry before the season begins.

At LaxNOVA Events, we are committed to supporting local lacrosse by providing structured, well-organized events that enhance player development and team success.
